Patara
Patara was a harbor city of Lycia on the southwest coast of Asia Minor. Paul and his companions stopped there during his return from a missionary journey, and Paul sailed from Patara toward Phoenicia.
Biblical Usage
Paul and his companions stopped at Patara while returning from his third missionary journey. There Paul found a larger ship sailing across the open sea to Phoenicia and traveled in it to Tyre. This is the single biblical mention of Patara.
