Angels
For many centuries, story-tellers and artists have conjured images of angelic beings. They are often depicted as beautiful, human-like creatures with wings and flowing white gowns. In order to know the truth about angels, however, we need to determine what the Bible says about them.
Atonement
Atonement is a central concept in the Bible and refers to the process by which the relationship between God and humanity is restored after being broken by sin. The word “atonement” is often explained as “at-one-ment,” meaning reconciliation or the restoration of unity between two parties who were separated (Romans 5:11). In biblical theology, atonement is the means by which sin is forgiven and the relationship between God and humanity is repaired.
