Beginning in an old bait house more than 40 years ago, Lakepointe Church was humbly formed . It's seven members wished to start a church that would serve the young families moving into the community.
Now over 20,000 people meet each week in 2 languages across 6 locations, and the spirit of the 7 families can still be felt. God has also used Lakepointe to reach beyond our Dallas/Fort Worth communities and plant 57 churches in the most spiritually hard-to-reach cities across the United States.
Josh Howerton is the Senior Pastor of Lakepointe Church. He and his wife, Jana, serve together with a shared passion for helping people know Christ, live free, and make a difference.
